Let’s be real—this fitness journey ain't been cute. I almost called this program Fat Girl Fitness because, whew, the struggle has been real. I’ve gained almost 60 pounds, not just of body weight but of emotions, stress, and heavy moments that sat on my chest for too long. As someone who used to own a gym and fly through the air as an aerial performer, this hit me deep. I let myself down in a way that felt heavier than any weight I’ve ever lifted.

But here’s the thing—I never stopped loving myself. I own this weight, I have control. I love my body in every stage, every form, every version of me that has existed. But self-love also means self-accountability, and I had to ask myself: Am I really giving my body what it deserves?

Why Lazy Girl Fitness?

Because fitness ain’t just for the supermodels, the athletes, or the folks who wake up at 5 AM ready to grind. It’s for the woman who’s tired. The one who’s been through some hard times and is trying to find her way back. It’s for the girl who wants to start again but feels like she’s already too far gone.

I started this because I needed it—but I’m sharing it because I know I’m not the only one. I don’t want anyone feeling like they have to go through this alone.

The Truth About My Journey

The weight gain? It wasn’t just from food. It was from depression, heartbreak, exhaustion, and neglect. I used to be so disciplined, so strong, but when life hit me in ways I wasn’t prepared for, I checked out. And honestly? I didn’t realize how much I was disappearing into myself until I barely recognized my reflection.

But baby, we are not staying stuck.

That’s why I’m putting this out there. Not because I have all the answers, but because I refuse to let my struggles silence me. And if you’ve been sitting in a season where movement feels impossible, I want you to know—you can start again too.

Lazy Girl Fitness is About Taking Back Control

It’s not about extremes. It’s about showing up, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. It’s about moving your body, even if it’s slow. It’s about building strength, not just in your muscles, but in your mind.

I’m creating:✔️ Simple workouts you can do at home✔️ Daily movement calendars to help you stay on track✔️ A supportive community—because girl, we are in this together!

And listen, this ain't about trying to fit into society’s idea of “fit.” It’s about feeling good in our bodies again. Strong, powerful, alive.

If You’re Ready to Start Again, I Got You.

If you’re like me—if you’ve been struggling to get back into fitness, if you’ve felt lost, if you’ve been telling yourself “I’ll start next week” for the last six months—this is your sign.

I’m taking this journey step by step, and I’m inviting you to walk with me. We may not be perfect, but we are powerful.

No one should have to do this alone. So let’s get it, sis. Lazy Girl Fitness is here, and we’re moving forward together.
